How constituency lines are drawn this coming election
here's the trick: 1) PAP splits their ministers all around Singapore. Eg. 10 constituencies, so they split 10 top ministers up. (eg. MM Lee, PM Lee, SM Goh etc...) 2) they then say. ok if you dont vote for us you will lose a top minister. (now imagine today is voting and suddenly MM Lee or PM Lee is voted out of parliament. They suddenly end up as a chicken rice seller)
**Logic tells us its funny if suddenly someone like MM Lee or PM Lee is voted out of politics. So most people feel they need to give these old peeps some face by voting them in.
Political parties for the nation which excludes PAP say to the citizens "Dont be cheated. If a minister is voted out, another will definitely replace him. It doesnt mark the end of the whole world."
My opinions: Oh please. I seriously don't see why Singaporean's are afraid to lose a minister. Well maybe you arent. I've spoken to many, and they say things like "It's not easy to vote them out", "what if i lose my job", "no choice must give him face, how can there be no PM tomorrow?"
To me, i'd just vote you out if I don't want you. Who cares if you're the MM or PM or SM? If I like you, I vote you in, if I don't, i'll vote you out. I don't really care if you're the PM or MM. That doesn't give you a gold title to stay in that heaven. Why not just call ALL the ministers working for PAP Minister mentors? That way everyone will be voted in since some Singaporeans are concerned losing a top official.
Well, after all, PAP has been doing quite good work aren't they? We arent living in tents or small cubicles. I'm not saying PAP is bad. They are not bad. what i am saying is, "stop gloating over your top ministers because the younger generation probably don't care."
Still, thank you PAP and various other parties for making Singapore what it is today.
